Solid carbide knives
Solid carbide knives are produced entirely from tungsten carbide, with no steel body. This delivers maximum hardness across the full cross-section of the knife and is the preferred solution where extreme precision, fine cutting edges or full-edge regrinding capability are required.
They are typically used in demanding cutting applications such as non-woven fabrics, technical textiles, fiberglass, composites, films and high-precision converting lines, where edge sharpness and dimensional stability directly determine product quality.
Each solid carbide knife is custom-made to the dimensions, geometry and tolerances you require. We advise on the optimal carbide grade — balancing hardness, toughness and edge retention — to extend service life and reduce total cost of ownership.
